Matt Peacock at Friends of the ABC AGM
Well known journalist and author of “Killer Company ” Matt Peacock will be in Hobart next weekend to speak at the Annual General Meeting of Friends of the ABC Tasmania .
Matt Peacock is well known as an investigative journalist whose work exposed the scandal of the health impact of exposure to asbestos. His work inspired the television mini series “Devils Dust ” which described the David and Goliath battle between Bernie Banton and James Hardie over many years .
Tasmanian Friends of the ABC have welcomed Matt Peacocks election to the ABC Board as he has a long history of understanding the key issues affecting the national broadcaster.
Matt Peacock will be speaking at the Battery Point Community Hall 52 Hampden Rd on Sunday 24 November at 1pm. Members of the Public are welcome to attend.
