The historic keynote speech by the Caliph of Islam, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, on 18th of October at Khilafat Centenary Hall in Marsden Park Sydney. About 300 people, including the academics, religious and community leaders, local, state and federal politicians, teachers, doctors, lawyers, engineers, professors, journalists, etc from the broader community are expected to attend. The keynote speech will be followed by a buffet dinner.

His Holiness lives a life of exile in UK and is currently visiting Australia. His Holiness has recently presided over the 29th Annual Convention of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Australia at their Marsden Park Western Sydney centre that was attended by 4000+ visitors from 12 different countries. It is only the fourth time in 110 years of Ahmadiyya presence in Australia that a Caliph has visited. Last time His Holiness visited Australia was in 2006.

His Holiness has spoken extensively on the need of establishing lasting peace in the World. In 2004, His Holiness initiated an annual National Peace Symposium in the UK. His Holiness attracted global media attention when he recently addressed European Parliamentarians in Brussels, the UK Parliamentarians at Westminster London and, Members of the US Congress and Senate at the Capitol Hill Washington DC. His Holiness has repeatedly voiced his concerns over the escalating dangers to World Peace and our obligations as global citizens to foster an environment of tolerance and acceptance. His Holiness is of the opinion that certain trends in the global quest for materialism and religious extremism can potentially lead the humanity to another catastrophe similar to World War II. His Holiness has also written letters to counsel the World leaders – including President Barack Obama, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad – to resolve international disputes with diplomacy and to avoid violence at all costs in order to prevent a Third World War.
