You have been identified as someone with an interest in Tasmanian arts, media, and culture and are invited to register and participate in a new community discussion board for southern Tasmania, Mouth of the Derwent: http://www.mouthofthederwent.com/

Mouth of the Derwent has been established with the following aims:
• To provide a forum for discussions relevant to the community.
• To facilitate the exchange of community information.
• To provide a social media outlet for the southern Tasmanian community.

Mouth of the Derwent is non-commercial, advertising-free, and politically independent.

The discussion board is divided into four forums and a section for administration, the forums are:
• Big Talk – for the serious discussions on the big issues, both global and local.
• Recreation – for discussions on what people are doing in their spare time
• Events – for the promotion and discussion of community events, future or past.
• The Social Pages – the place for members to engage with each other about each other, this forum includes the board Classifieds.

The role of the administrative team is not to dictate discussion but we have established a few topics in each forum to initiate discussion and to provide examples of topics that suit each forum.

You are now ready to participate, you can start a new topic of your own, contribute to existing topics, or just read what others have to say.
