The clock is ticking.

There is under a week to go until registrations close for the upcoming state-wide ChemClear collection across Tasmania.

An initiative that collects and disposes of unwanted, inherited or obsolete ag vet chemicals, ChemClear was established in 2004 and in that time has disposed of over 250 tonnes of potentially hazardous chemicals. Hopes are high for an especially prosperous collection this December, but waste holders are reminded that registration must be made before November 18 or they will be unable to take advantage of the service.

ChemClear is working hard for our future generations, with 98 per cent of all unwanted ag vet chemicals collected under the program used as an alternate fuel source.
