Stayed in paradise at the weekend ??????????????

I stayed at Orford over the weekend to celebrate my partners 50 birthday.

Magic spot, almost paradise except for the never ending sound of log trucks, 6 am to 6pm, as they rattled and rolled through town.

The visitors book at our accommodation had page after page of comments about the beauty of our east coast indispersed with disgust at the noise of trucks , the scarring of the hills and the complete lack of undersatnding by locals as to what is happening around them.

Not able to see the woods for the trees i suppose.
