So the big hitters of Forestry Tasmania are getting rough and pursuing a cost claim against the Weld Angel!
If the lads need to raise funds for their court action then might I suggest they consider holding a vintage film evening? One movie that springs to mind is a 1955 golden oldie that starred Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov and Aldo Ray – it was titled “We’re No Angels”.
Interesting photo in the Mercury of forestry chief Bob Gordon flanked by Ian Crouch and Terry Ware. Looked like a menacing veteran rugby front row. Any connection there?
Rugger may be the game they play in heaven, but these chaps look like they’re ready for a real down-to-earth shove against a whole green pack. Instead they’re taking on just one girl.
