Taz-Mania: the disease Now showing … very slowly!

It started with a world-class script that larger production houses would die for! If this was a box office ‘who-done it’, you’d have to say it had an exquisite storyline but it didn’t get the financial backing it deserved.

It could have been a Tasmanian epic but by keeping the budget tight, the producers & directors simply lost the plot!. It looked so good on paper, but on the screen the directors let their small cast of local talent down.

Changed from a detective thriller into a psycho-drama, this is a low budget affair. Let’s hope the sequel is a blockbuster, because the real life story of the main character, the Tasmanian devil deserves it!
