From reading TTs it is clear that there is much that is so very important to those of us who enjoy living a comfortable life between the North Hobart and Taroona Post Offices via the CBD and University.
We agonise about clean water, clean air flora, fauna, bio-diversity, religious intolerance, animal welfare and rights, the percentage of same sex relationships in Outer Mongolia.
We use our tatty pass and mouldy master’s degrees to bolster any half constructed argument for any cause we fixate upon even when our qualifications bear no reference to the subject of our pious pontifications.
We are concerned for the welfare of Whales or should that be Wales? Floods, famine and pestilence are more mill to our grits, Ban the Bomb, Bring the Troops Home from where ever they may be on any given day, we shout loud and hard.
No issue is too small or too great for our mighty pens and homemade banners; because we care we write and protest.
For we are the new Conservatives, hubris our middle name, nothing that today or tomorrow offers is half as good as that which we and our parents enjoyed yesterday.
Speaking of yesterday, I was talking to an employment councillor who had just finished interviewing a client (we are always PC) who had only had one slice of bread to eat since Saturday but maybe he like so many others just slip under our radar after all he lives past the Creek Road boundary of our cares and concerns, and after all as we all know unemployment and starvation are Eat African problems surely they couldn’t be our problems?
No of course not. By the way have I told you about the latest research into tadpole gender identification?
Yours truly,
David Chadwick

No, but you could tell us about the latest research and advances on the Intelligent Island funding.
In December 2003, when the program ceased, the expenditure had totalled $7.5m from the total $40m won by Senator Harradine.
This would leave a balance of $32.5m but all current reports refer to only $20m remaining to be allocated.
Of course, your tadpole genetics could be part of the future investment.

Dear Mark,
I assume by your question that you have reason for thinking that I would know the answer to the question posed. Why I can not imagine?
More information please?
