“… It’s not Australian what’s going on and this is happening in Australia,”
but:
… the ship is contracted by Forestry Tasmania and is bound for Indonesia & China.
The Burnie Port Corporation and Forestry Tasmania have refused to comment on the matter.
What else would we expect from … getting away with so many dirty things, why not this time?
It’s all about mine the place and ship it off as cheap as possible.
Makes you think, doesn’t it?
Sadly, generations to follow will still have to pay for the damage that this lot has done to Tasmania.

How low will they go next time?
Now that in fact this log ship has left Tasmanian shores, one could ask where are our human ethical cultural values in all this. Is this the way to continue international trade?
Is this Tasmania 2005 or what is going on in the clever, clean green state?
Was there a collusion between the (state owned) log exporter FT and the BPC to send the ship / let the ship go quickly?
If there is a connecting / collusion with potential mistreatment of fellow humans, just to trade unprocessed logs, just to be seen financial valid, it would demonstrate how far down this industry / these industries is / are prepared to go, for just a few dollars more..
Disgusting, just disgusting.
Is Tasmania’s forestry industry now on a slippery slope to third world standard?
As if there would not be a next time, or no future for Tasmania.
What does Brand Tasmania have to say about such commercial arrangements I wonder; what next in our world’s best criteria?
