My good friend Bacchus No-Smoke and I have been abroad and while in MARY’S Copenhagen, Bacchus had a drink with a royal lady-in-waiting, who is a cousin of his by marriage …
And the BIG NEWS that the palace can barely conceal … is that … MARY IS PREGNANT.
Back in Hobart, Bacchus caught up with old mates at Shippies Hotel in Battery Point, where he heard some more royal news …. Incat’s CRAIG CLIFFORD and three mates have bought The Prince of Wales Hotel in Hampden Road from the Olivers.
Clifford and Co will reopen it as a pub at the end of the month, while they make plans to turn it into a watering hole fit for a princess.
Oh, and by the way, they have also bought a hotel in Launceston.
Bacchus also caught up with old mates in the arts world and discovered that festivals’ prince LEO SCOFIELD … has bought Dysart House at Kempton.
