I have just found out that the time for public comment on the Gxxxx pxxx mxxx (real name hidden for litigious reasons), debacle runs out on the 4th January.
Bloody hell, that was quick. I don’t read the local paper as it is (shock) unreliable and the electronic media have had bugger all input as far as I can tell, so a major project such as this whizzes through quicker than a chainsaw through South Sister.
After a quick read through the 28 page Gxxxx submission, I find waste will be pumped into the ocean as a “closed” system is not a financially viable solution. Money is more important than the environment yet again.
Stop clearfelling OUR heritage, stop firebombing OUR land and stop the needless pollution of OUR home.
As the saying goes, when the game is over, kings and pawns all go in the same box. $$$$$$ will mean three fifths of fanny adams then !!!
