If you stacked Paula up against the rest of us, all in a row wearing same non work clothes – with other men and women – she would look the same as the rest of us. We should not forget our humanity. Whilst she has chosen the party and career – she is after all a human being deserving of far less objectification as she has across the various media. She is also a mother and has been at one time or other a partner. Like all of us she deserves to be happy and to be left well alone at this time. Its fine to fight enormously hard, intensely and with a focus on winning with those who are healthy – but when a world caves in like this, we all need to go past the politic and simply reflect on how it would be if she was our mother, sister or daughter. We can show respect by not participating further in discussion. Let’s not oxygenate what doesnt need it – people here are hurting hard enough. Read more, Comment here
