It is disingenuous for the developer to resubmit the exact same Rosny Hill proposal that was withdrawn in a failed build to take the heat off the Mayor during the recent Council elections.

Instead of a 100+-room luxury hotel overdevelopment, my modest proposal was well received by residents throughout the city. Mulder’s ‘middle-way’ proposal would excavate below the existing car park to create space for a partially subterranean restaurant and function centre with glass frontage to take in the magnificent views.

Although this is unlikely to win any architectural awards, it would have minimal impact on the existing road footprint or the skyline. Restoring the car park above the new facility enables tourist buses to continue visiting and will create a lunch time trade for the restaurant as well as a sorely needed facility for weddings and functions.
