TASMANIA Police has crafted a plan to deal with big protests at Gunns’ proposed pulp mill. Commissioner Jack Johnston said the contingency plan had been created to ensure officers were ready to cope with a mass protest at the proposed site at Longreach. But he refused to go into detail, saying it would be inappropriate to do so. Read more here
