IRAQ war whistleblower and former Greens senate candidate Andrew Wilkie has quit the Greens Party, fed up with internal wrangling within its Tasmanian branch. Mr Wilkie, who moved to Hobart with his young family two years ago, cancelled his Australian Greens membership last week. He blamed his decision on the “baggage, strictures and difficulties of party politics”. Read more here
