Bob Brown first entered the Tarkine in 1972 to search for the Tasmanian Tiger. While he didn’t find the thylacine, he did find an ancient and magnificent landscape that inspired four and a half decades of campaigning to protect this amazing place.

Even gaolled for standing in defense of the Tarkine, Bob’s passion has inspired thousands to visit this place and fall in love with it’s rainforests and coastal wilderness.
