Readers may remember the media release and Amnesty international (Urban Group-Hobart) action that happened on 26th April.

We had a cage with toys in it on Parliament House Lawns in Hobart, to highlight the children still in detention.

We collected 209 signatures in 2 hours to get Children out of Detention.

Yesterday 100,000 signatures were handed in to Parliament House in Canberra

In the end the petition got over 100,000 signatures – so huge thanks to everyone who was involved. The campaign to get kids out continues with Lost Children.
