On behalf of Opposition MPs, Labor Leader Bryan Green would like to pay tribute to retiring Greens Leader Kim Booth.
“Kim Booth has been a prominent and hard-working member of Tasmania’s Parliament for the last 13 years,” Mr Green said.
“Mr Booth has been a passionate advocate for the causes he believes in.
“Kim Booth and I do not see eye to eye politically and we have certainly traded professional blows over the years but it has never been personal.
“I’d also like to convey the Opposition’s sympathy on the passing of Mr Booth’s father.
“Losing a close family member is an enormously significant event in anyone’s life.
“I’d like to wish Kim Booth all the best for life after Parliament and thank him for his contribution to public life.”
