Tasmanian Times entered the world in October 2002. Over three and half years we’ve become one of the most admired political websites in Australia, breaking the stories no-one else in Tasmania dares publish, earning the enmity of the powerful and the ever growing respect and support of the people — with more than 2000 unique visitors a day, and more than 300,000 page views a month.
But we never had a launch.
So come to drink to the need for truth to be told and celebrate what has in a short time become a Tasmanian institution.
Also on hand will be our thisTasmania Network partners — Leatherwood Online, Island Tastes, Pinot Island and the eclectic TTTV — who add another 2000 unique visitors a day to the Network’s growing statistics.
Frank the Poet will be resurrected. There will be dancing. There will be toasts.
But we have no money. So bring your wallet because you’ll have to Buy Your Own.
