Small and medium businesses in the Launceston region can take part in a free program that assesses their energy use and provides practical solutions to save money.
The Liberal Government is pleased to support today’s launch of the new Energy Efficiency Program which is a joint initiative between the Launceston Chamber of Commerce and natural resource management organisation, NRM North.
The program offers participating businesses a free, one hour audit with an EnergyBank consultant that assesses how energy is being used and provides practical recommendations for reducing costs.
The Tasmanian Government encourages all eligible businesses to participate and potentially save money.
Energy efficiency is one of the cheapest and simplest ways that businesses can make savings.
This free program offers multiple benefits for local businesses, including practical measures for immediate savings and a long term plan to manage energy use.
While this program looks at ways to make savings while running a business, it also helps build the local economy and create jobs.
