Guy Barnett, Ambassador for Diabetes Australia
Diabetes Australia Ambassador Mr Guy Barnett has been invited to speak to the International Diabetes Federation Board at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) conference in Barcelona.

“The EASD diabetes conference is one of the biggest in the world and it is an honour to be invited to speak to the IDF Board.

“Australia is a diabetes hotspot and Melbourne will be hosting the World Diabetes Congress this December.

“Australia has an estimated 1.5 million people with diabetes with another 2 million with pre-diabetes so the numbers are getting worse and fast” Mr Barnett concluded.

The conference is from 23 to 27 September and will be held in Barcelona, Spain.
