If you are alive in 2011, no matter what your age, you have been part of one of the largest and worst experiments in history. No matter how carefully you eat or drink or watch your exposure to toxins, your body has chemicals in it that do not belong there and have the potential to make you ill, even fatally ill.

If we are to overcome the inertia of business and government when it comes to dealing with these intractable problems of toxic substances exposure, there must be a groundswell of public support. I urge you all to forward this far and wide, to your social and professional networks. As a two-time cancer survivor resulting from my DES exposure in utero, I know that we each have a huge personal stake in seeing that this legislation, at a minimum, becomes law. Please take the time to urge your legislators to cosponsor and support The Endocrine-Disrupting Chemicals Exposure Act of 2011.
Be well,
