Reviewing the ban on hempseed 4

Food Standards Australia New Zealand are reviewing the present ban on the consumption of hempseed here in Australia, passed previously in 2002 but knocked back by the inept State and Federal Governments of the time.

So anyone wanting to see a vibrant industrial hemp industry created here in Tasmania to replace so many of the jobs in other industries which have been lost in recent times should consider sending in a submission to Food Standards Australia & New Zealand by 27th April preferably by email to [email protected] or by snailmail to FSANZ PO Box 7186 Canberra BC ACT 2610.
