Bleaney and Scammell fulfilled their public duty just as Alison continues to do so with atrazine despite the nay-sayers. Just as Scammell and Bleaney (and the oyster farmers) continue to do with the water. They haven’t given up even though they have clearly had a hard task.
Meantime, the govt, with their resources did what exactly? Hoped that they’d go away? Too many other fires to fight? Too politically difficult? We’ll most likely never know.
