Results declared in 2024 Legislative Council Elections

The provisional distribution of preferences for each division has been completed, with the following results:

Elwick: Bec Thomas elected
Hobart: Cassy O’Connor elected
Prosser: Kerry Vincent elected

Current figures are available on the TEC website. Final figures are expected to be available on Tuesday 14 May, after the deadline for the return of remaining postal ballots.

Declaration of the poll

The declaration of the poll ceremony will be conducted by the Returning Officers for each division from 10:00 am, Thursday 9 May 2024 on the Legislative Council steps, Murray St, Hobart.

Media and members of the public are invited to attend.
