Nominations Open for the Tasmanian Community Landcare Awards
Landcare Tasmania is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the prestigious Tasmanian Community Landcare Awards. These awards aim to recognise and celebrate individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Landcare in Tasmania.
Landcare Tasmania invites members of the community to nominate themselves or individuals who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to Landcare initiatives. By acknowledging these outstanding contributions, the awards highlight the significant positive impact that individuals have on the environment and communities throughout Tasmania.
This year, the Tasmanian Community Landcare Awards will feature three categories of recognition:
1. Roll of Honour – recognising people who have made significant contributions through their Landcare work within their local community.
2. Honorary Life Membership – this category recognises individuals who have made long standing and unique contributions to Landcare Tasmania or the community Landcare movement.
3. Tasmanian Premier’s Landcare Award – this prestigious award recognises innovation, inspiration, or community building in Landcare and land management.
The Tasmanian Landcare Awards Ceremony will be a highlight event taking place at Spring Bay Mill during the weekend of the Tasmanian Community Landcare Conference – providing a special platform to honour and celebrate the outstanding achievement of the nominated winners.
Nominations for the Tasmania Community Landcare Awards will remain open until August 28th. To submit a nomination or learn more about the awards, please visit the Landcare Tasmania website at www.landcaretas.org.au/tasmanian_landcare_awards
