JACKJUMPERS BOOK GRAND FINAL SPOT

The Tasmania JackJumpers’ Cinderella story has continued, with the expansion club making the Hungry Jack’s NBL Grand Final after defeating Melbourne United in game three of the Semi-Finals, 76-73.

Tasmania is the first expansion team to make it to the Grand Final in their inaugural season since Geelong in 1982.

The JackJumpers will battle MVP Jaylen Adams and the Sydney Kings in the best-of-five game Grand Final series, which tips off on Friday night in Sydney.

Josh Adams was the star for Tasmania, scoring 30 points after going scoreless in the first quarter. His clutch three-pointer with just over a minute left secured the win for the JackJumpers.

Melbourne captain Chris Goulding didn’t play after he injured his calf in warm-ups.
