Lighthouse Regional Arts are pleased to announce the opening of Perspectives by Gerald Martin/Goos.
This collection of bold colourful oil paintings reflect his long and varied life.
As toolmaker, product designer, and technical illustrator, the impact of machinery is also a feature. Steam trains power through the landscape, ships rest at anchor and battle the storm. Observations of war contrast with peaceful village life.
His stated philosophy that these is “no wrong art.”
The exhibition runs until 2nd August 2021 at the Watch House Gallery, Macquarie St, George Town:
