AT CAST
The Stigma Research Laboratory (SRL) is an inspiring collaboration between Tasmanian artists John Vella, Philippa Steele and Scot Cotterell, the Housing and Community Research Unit at the University of Tasmania, Contemporary Art Spaces Tasmania and the Moonah Arts Centre.
SRL explores the issue of stigma as it relates to housing and neighbourhoods. The SRL exhibition was first presented at the Moonah Arts Centre in May 2009.
You are invited to attend the launch by Tom Muller, CEO of Tasmanian Council of Social Service, of the SRL catalogue – containing images of the exhibition and essays from the artists and academics involved in the project.
