LIKE to live in a “gated community”? This is what the Kentish Council is doing to the people of Lorinna, destroying their incomes, businesses and lives!
The Council is determined to protect itself against ‘liability’ exposure!

And what do they consider is better for us?

Everyone is being forced to use a dangerous one lane road to the South. This travels (one lane) around blind corners along the side of the Forth River for about 7 kilometers. If you meet another vehicle on most of this road, one is forced to reverse, sometimes up to a kilometer. And be VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DRIVE NEAR THE EDGE!

These pictures taken by a DIER safety officer. Note the boot and car wheel. The car is travelling on the centre of the road! And how far does this typical hole extend? Look how far I can put my hand in under the road surface!

Maybe this is why when all Councillors were invited to coffee and scones and cream at the Lorinna cafe on Saturday 21st March, no one came! Only the local resident Councillor, Annie Willock attended!

You can see how steep the embankment is – I am standing on loose material right at the side of the pavement, and the camera is pointing down!
