Expected election timetable:

  • Monday 30 March, 6:00pm: Issue of the writs and close of rolls
  • Tuesday 31 March, 9:00am: Candidate nominations open
  • Thursday 9 April, 12:00 noon: Candidate nominations close
  • Friday 10 April, 12:00 noon: Nominations announced
  • Monday 13 April, 8:30am: Pre-poll voting commences
  • Friday 24 April, 4:00pm: Postal vote applications close
  • Saturday 2 May, 8:00am to 6:00pm: Polling day
