Tasmania’s largest food and drink festival is just 150 days away, and organisers of Taste of Summer are marking the countdown with the release of striking new event branding – setting the stage for a fresh new look while celebrating everything locals and visitors love about the event.
Returning to Hobart’s waterfront, Taste of Summer will take place from Saturday, 27 December 2025 to Saturday 3 January 2026, with the festival open from 12 noon daily.
General Manager Katharine Dean said the refreshed look was designed to capture the energy and evolution of the event, while honouring its heritage and strong community ties.
“We’re incredibly excited to share this new branding – it reflects both where the Taste is now and where it’s headed,” Dean said.
“We’ve always been proud of how the Taste brings together Tasmania’s best producers, chefs, winemakers and creatives. This year’s design celebrates that colour, vibrancy and spirit.”
Alongside the branding reveal, festival organisers have issued a final callout for stallholders, musicians and artists to submit their Expressions of Interest, with just two weeks remaining before applications close.
Food and Drink Curators Jo Cook and Khayla Massie said the Taste team was looking forward to curating another exceptional lineup of Tasmanian talent.
“The Taste is a much-loved celebration of all things Tasmanian – from food and drink to the creativity of local artisans,” Massie said.
“We’re calling on the best of Tasmania’s producers, chefs, brewers, distillers and artisans to get their EOIs in before the deadline. Don’t miss the chance to be part of one of the state’s most iconic summer experiences.”
With planning well underway for this year’s event, the first release of tickets will go on sale in late September, with full program details to follow in the months ahead.
The 2025–26 Taste of Summer promises a vibrant, family-friendly celebration of Tasmania’s world-class produce, set against the backdrop of Hobart’s iconic waterfront during the height of the summer holidays.
