Tuesday evening sees the much-talked-about public meeting regarding the Collins Street improvements in Hobart.
The Hobart Council was obliged to arrange the event after anti-progress holdbacks organised enough signatures to force the meeting.
The Transforming Collins Street project involves a variety of tactical trial changes including streetside dining areas and separated cycle lanes.
The agenda and summary of submissions is reproduced below.
If you’re interested in improving the bike network of greater Hobart and the general amenity of the city centre, the public meeting starts at 17:30 at City Hall and is scheduled to run for 2 hours. You will need to book a ticket to attend.
Meeting attendees can vote on the four motions put forward, also to be found further down this page.
