ECHO Festival 2025: A Festival of the Senses Returns to Tasmania’s East Coast
ECHO Festival, Tasmania’s premier Festival of the Senses, is set to return from 14–16 March 2025, offering a weekend of culture, creativity and connection on the stunning east coast. With the 2025 theme of Tides, the festival celebrates the natural rhythms of the coastal environment, providing an immersive experience that delights every sense.

Native Bounty Feast: A dining experience showcasing local and indigenous produce, curated by acclaimed chef Simon Ford.

Talks by celebrated Tasmanian author Robbie Arnott: Engage with one of Tasmania’s most acclaimed literary voices.

Dancing with Waves: Captivating tales of Tasmania’s surfing culture, featuring legends Dustin Hollick and Michael Paxton.

Tasman Sea Salt Talk: Discover the sustainable process behind Tasmania’s pure sea salt production and its impact on flavour and the way we taste food.

Wild Hives Honey Talk: Led by Rob Barker, this session explores the fascinating lives of Tasmania’s wild bees and their unique honey.

Live music performances: Featuring the legendary Tim Rogers, along with Where Water Meets, Racoon Dog and Lune River.

Workshops and masterclasses: Including blacksmithing workshops with Tasmanian artisan Pete Mattila, and gin, wine and whisky masterclasses, offering a deeper connection to the region’s artisanal offerings.
