“The use of traffic lights just made me think about what a car crash this government has been.”

In response to the Liberal Party’s traffic light advertisement Jacqui had this to say:

“This is just the same old rubbish both major parties go with every time.

This Liberal government has been putting Tasmania’s future at risk for a decade – they’ve dropped the ball on health, education and housing.

Honestly when I saw it, I laughed – are they really trying to tell Tasmanians that they are the only ones who can be trusted to choose what’s best for our state?

The last election they ran the same ‘you must vote for stability’ line – and then went on to become a minority government because they have a massive problem with transparency.

Not to mention the fact that the last two Liberal Premiers have called the election 18 months early. And I am pretty sure both of those Premier’s committed to staying for a full term and they both resigned mid-term.

Tasmania needs new blood, JLN’s candidates are Tasmanians who contribute to their communities and they will hold the major parties to account – that’s what scares them.”
