Result for the Sorell Council recount

A recount was completed today, to fill a vacancy on the Sorell Council created by the resignation of Councillor Meg Brown on Friday 17 November 2023. Six eligible candidates nominated to contest the recount.

Beth Nichols has been elected as councillor to serve until the 2026 ordinary elections. An abstract of the recount can be viewed on our website.
