Consultation and Submission Dates for the National Housing and Homelessness Plan
An Issues Paper has been released for the National Housing and Homelessness Plan, which is being developed by the Australian Government, led by DSS.
Organisations and individuals are encouraged to make a written submission in response to the Issues Paper, due at 11.59PM AEST Friday, 20 October 2023.
To have your say on the development of the National Housing and Homelessness Plan you can also attend a community forum in Hobart and Launceston, or online (registration is essential, see details below).
The community forums are open to:
- The general public
- Individuals and families with lived experience of housing insecurity or homelessness
- Not-for-profit and civil society organisations
- Housing and homelessness sector organisations, advocates, experts and researchers
- Support workers and providers
- Other service providers, e.g. police, health professionals and first responders
- Experts in housing, finance and urban development
