Live the life you please is a new documentary film about palliative care. It’s a portrait of the end-of-life and of how palliative care is transforming the lives of Australians with life limiting illnesses. As one of the participants in the documentary says, “by openly acknowledging the reality of death, we’re better equipped to engage with life.”

The documentary features various stories captured all around Australia, from cities and regional centres to remote communities. These stories demonstrate that palliative care is more than medicine. It’s about quality of life. It’s about providing physical, social, emotional and spiritual support to patients and their loved ones. It’s about embracing every moment and living the life you please until the very end.

Live the life you please will be screening on Sunday 4 June, 14:00, at Village Cinemas Hobart and Launceston.
