Hobart Traffic Survey

Hobart traffic survey
We are installing temporary traffic cameras around the Hobart CBD from today.
There will be 22 sites across the greater Hobart region including Davey Street, Macquarie Street and the Brooker Highway.
The traffic survey reflects a routine data collection approach that the department uses to provide us with updated information about vehicle movements and help inform future urban transport planning and projects.
Data collection will take place during next week, and the cameras will be removed by Sunday 7 May 2023.
The department will not have access to any personally identifiable information as a result of these surveys.
