Sarah Lovell ready to run again

Sarah Lovell has been officially pre-selected to run in Legislative Council seat of Rumney for a second term in May 2023, Rebecca White confirmed today.

“I am really excited to announce Sarah Lovell’s successful pre-selection for the seat of Rumney,” Ms White said.

“Sarah has been an excellent member of our team, and I know she has so much more to give to her community.

“Sarah is such a dedicated representative for her community, and she has so much more to contribute to Parliament.”

Sarah Lovell was first elected as the representative for Rumney in 2017, and has worked hard for her community over the last 5 and a half years.

“I think what people really want is a representative who works hard, acts with integrity and can relate to their everyday lives,” Ms Lovell said.

“I have lived in Rumney most of my life, I grew up here, so it really is home for me.

“I have been out in my community, listening to what their concerns are.

“It comes as no surprise that the cost of living is hurting many households, but also people are concerned about health and housing too.

“Labor is focused on the issues that matter most to Tasmanians, and I want to show the people of Rumney that I have my priorities right.

“I want to be able to continue to support my local community, watching it grow, and making it a strong and inclusive place.”
