Clarence Council Elections
In recent years we have felt a frustrating lack of true community representation by Clarence City Council.
The wishes of communities in areas such as Kangaroo Bay, Rosny Hill, Tranmere, South Arm, Sandford and Seven Mile Beach, have often been over-ridden by vested business or political interests.
Tasmanian Local Government Elections are coming up in October, and this is a great opportunity for us to gain true community representation in council, on issues that matter to us as a neighbourhood and a community.
Our group is keen to support people who would like to serve as councillors/aldermen on Clarence City Council and who are prepared to represent our views on
- true community representation,
- genuine community consultation,
- respect for community values,
- environmental responsibility
