Live theatre returns to the Derwent Valley this week with a staging of Play On.
The Derwent Valley Players present the comedy in three acts at the Memorial Hall, Circle St, New Norfolk.
Play On tells the story of a theatre group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty authoress who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does.
Shows are on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 November, 19.00 for 19.30 curtain.
Refreshments available, wine, beer, tea and coffee.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite or cash at the door. Bookings – Vivienne 0411 744 248.
