The Tasmanian Disability Festival is calling for nominations of dedicated individuals and organisations working in or across the disability sector for the 2021 Tasmanian Disability Festival Awards.

The awards have been created to encourage and improve the standard of service provided to people with a disability, to celebrate significant achievement and to recognise outstanding contribution by an individual or organisation.

With 12 awards for excellence up for grabs, the state-wide awards celebrate organisations and individuals from the disability sector as well as the broader community who are going above and beyond to provide outstanding support to people with a disability.

Judges for the awards have been sourced from Tasmania’s extensive disability services sector and along with the awards partners, will provide a range of skills, experience and enthusiasm to the judging process. All judges generously volunteer their time to assess the nominations and make final recommendations.

The awards will also include the Tasmanian Disability Festival Scholarship. This will be awarded to an individual who has shown dedication and excellence within the disability sector and would like to grow their skills, experience further education or have a great initiative that would benefit from a financial kick start.

You can nominate an individual, an organisation or yourself across any of the 12 categories.
