You are invited to join Restore Pedder for a special afternoon on Tasmania’s east coast.
‘The UN Decade of Ecosystem Restoration: Conversations on the Coast‘ will be held on Saturday 31 July 31 at the Bicheno Memorial Hall.
Across the world, leaders have signed up to conserve 30% of our land and sea by 2030, so what’s happening in Tassie?
Come and hear about the restoration projects planned and already successfully underway and learn about Tasmania’s opportunity to be a global leader in large scale ecological restoration, if we dare to dream big.
Highlighted projects and speakers include Skyline Tier with Todd Dudley, Seymour Wetlands Restoration by Quentin Smith, Kathleen Davis will speak on the Earth Ocean Networks Waubs Bay dune restoration and our own Christine Milne on Lake Pedder.
When: Saturday, 31 July, 1.30-2.45pm
Where: Bicheno Memorial Hall, 78 Burgess Street, Bicheno
