Truffle Lodge, provider of 5-star glamping accommodation experiences in the Derwent Valley, is up for sale.
It is positioned on approximately 4.9 hectares of riverfront near Gretna.
Glamping accommodation includes 8 ‘African Safari’ riverfront tents. Each tent encompasses 81sqm, all with ensuites and connected by a wandering boardwalk to the lodge.

This central part of the site has wraparound decks, a large guest lounge, separate dining room, reception, kitchen preparation room and laundry area.
The rooms are thermally and acoustically efficient and have windows overlooking the river and countryside.
There is also a function tent nearby which is popular for private functions or weddings with a difference.
The property features the eponymous truffliere, one of Australia’s first, with a 2.5 acre (approx) truffle orchard with established hazelnut trees. The property is part of the Land for Wildlife conservation program and is rich in birdlife and animals, while the river features platypus.

Truffle Lodge is positioned in a region that in recent years has seen a strong local, national and international tourism market and strong surge in tourism investment.
The Derwent Valley, as Tasmanians well know, offers a variety of experiences and activities, gourmet and artisan produce, an array of distilleries, vineyards, micro-breweries, hop kilns, fruit and berry picking farms and beautiful historic hamlets.
