Results of the 2020 Legislative Council elections

Distribution of preferences for Rosevears and Huon has been completed this afternoon.

Huon

Bastian Seidel (12,284 votes) has been elected as the Member for the division of Huon ahead of Robert Armstrong (9,152).

Rosevears

Jo Palmer (11,492 votes) has been elected as the Member for the division of Rosevears ahead of Janie Finlay (11,232 votes).

Declaration of the poll ceremonies are scheduled as follows –

Huon – 10:30 AM Wednesday 12 August 2020 – Steps of the Legislative Council, Murray St, Hobart

Rosevears – 11:00 AM Wednesday 12 August 2020 – Tailrace Centre, 1 Waterfront Drive, Riverside
