Brand Tasmania Workshops: Hobart, Sorell, Launceston

A powerful place brand isn’t only about land, air and water. It’s about people. The Tasmanian place brand is about you.

It’s been a few months since we’ve been able to get out and travel around Tasmania – now that Tasmania is opening up again we can. This also means Brand Tasmania can offer the Tasmanian brand story-telling workshops again too.

Brand Tasmania is a story telling organisation but we can’t do it without you and the compelling story you tell about your business, your art, your organisation, your community. We have all had a terrible time. To help us recover it’s time for all of us to become even more creative. We want you to know that we are here to help and also that our workshops are offered at no cost to participants.

With our friends at Business Tasmania we invite you to attend a workshop. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about “brand storytelling”, what narrative is – and the power of it. You will learn how to put your individual story together. By the end of our time together you can begin using your story in your own work – no matter what you do.

We will cover:

• What is a place brand?
• The Tasmanian brand story
• How to personalise the brand story in your work
• How to use narrative techniques to build your brand
• How to fit your brand inside the Tasmanian brand, so we all benefit
• How to use the Tasmanian wordmark and toolkit resources

The team at Brand Tasmania and Business Tasmania are working with people and communities across the state to bring more value to everything Tasmanian. We want you to begin bringing the brand to life in your own words through your work, your travels and in your day-to-day life.
