“Blind Freddy’s Dog can see the catastrophe that is now at our gates: over-population, a cargo-cult belief in ‘growth’ and a belief in consumption, but not, it seems, a belief in human caused climate change.”

Unfortunately Bob Brown’s Green Dog is blind. So are the other major party dogs of growth. The ALP’s policy to shift neg-gearing to new housing investment is connected to the population Ponzi of Big Australia and Concrete Dog Box living that is a social and environmental catastrophe.

The people who currently champion mass immigration, Big Australia and the economic paradigm of “growth” are in the majority in our parliaments.

People must move away from their comfortable associations with yesterday’s heroes and send a strong message.

Vote Independent, or for a minor party like Sustainable Australia which wants to stop this madness.

I support the Stop Population Growth Now Party, just as I supported Todd Dudley when some years ago he ran as a ZPG style candidate. I am considering joining this party (the blurb says membership is free) so that it will have enough members to provide for the Party’s name to appear next to those of candidates at the next federal election.
