It was 3 degrees at 6.00 am in Ross this morning 1st Feb, although my weather station says 1 degree, but it may be over optimistic! It showed 35 degrees only a day ago.

We can’t say Tassie is not a place of contrasts! Crank up the wood stove! Let’s sincerely hope that the cool temperatures have helped our firies in an unrelenting task now made much more difficult by Climate Change .. which of course our current Federal and State Governments don’t believe is happening! May they both go the way of the dinosaurs!
