It’s known, in the game, as a picture opportunity.

Politician on the make meets constituent/kiddie/moviestar/public figure, hands are grasped, big smiles, cameras whir, flashes pop and the happy little circus moves on.

    Here is a prime example of why journalism is dead!

    Journalism was never about fact-finding and assessing, and then putting it all in a format that the given audience can understand.

    Journalism has always been about cherry picking the actual data, then mixing it with his or their own fabricated data to make a “story” sound interesting.
